Welcome to Cau del Pescador, a charming Mediterranean restaurant nestled in the heart of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Spain. Located at Carrer de Sant Domènec, 11, this quaint establishment captures the essence of a traditional fisherman's house, adorned with lovely art and historical photographs that tell the story of the region's rich maritime heritage.
The moment you step inside, you are embraced by a warm ambiance that invites you to unwind and indulge in the culinary delights that await. Known for its excellent fish dishes, Cau del Pescador prides itself on using the freshest ingredients. As one satisfied customer, Yulia Sh, noted, it’s “all about the ingredients.” This commitment is reflected in the local crab and monkfish, both of which have garnered rave reviews from patrons like Charlotte Jones, who described the food as “incredible.”
However, while the quality of the dishes shines through, some guests have mentioned the pricing is slightly on the higher side. Luc Guilhamon commented on the good food juxtaposed with overpriced options, which might not deter most, considering the quality on the plate. The friendly service provided by the family who runs the restaurant adds a layer of comfort, though they sometimes struggle during peak hours.
Cau del Pescador also surprises guests with thoughtful touches, such as complimentary olives and bread, although they come with a charge. This small detail elicited mixed reactions, but overall, the atmosphere, combined with the delicious culinary experience, makes up for any minor inconveniences.
For those craving a memorable meal in a relaxing setting, Cau del Pescador stands out as a local gem. With its excellent fish offerings, welcoming vibe, and a passionate team at the helm, it is easy to see why many return time and again. Just be sure to bring cash—this delightful spot does not accept cards.
Immerse yourself in the Mediterranean spirit at Cau del Pescador; it’s more than dining; it’s an experience that warms the heart and delights the palate.

Good food but overpriced. Service was good at the beginning but they struggled to keep up when the restaurant became busier, they deemed understaffed

my favorite place in st feliu, even though a tick overpriced, but the quality is by far the best lovely couple runs the resto and she mentioned in response to our components that the chef is doing nothing and it’s all about the ingredients! so they do indeed have the best ingredients in such case i keep coming to this place over and over and have never been disappointed

An awfully friendly elderly couple runs this old school fisherman's restaurant just as in the past: high quality traditional dishes, cosy ambiance. You can choose your own blue lobster from the aquarium. Also: Homemade deserts!
